Course summary
This Joint Honours course will allow you to explore the external and internal forces that shape individuals and their behaviour within society.Psychology at Worcester offers opportunities to study many facets of the human psyche including: forensic or clinical psychology, counselling or business psychology.Sociology provides a dynamic and unique focus on contemporary sociological perspectives, research, and challenges, with particular emphasis on work-based learning and the development of graduate employability skills.Key FeaturesA curriculum which emphasises a range of distinctive fields, including gender, sexualities, evolution, race and ethnicity, education, and crime.Wide choice of specialist modules and types of assessment (including practicals, exams, interviews and mock research).Personal and academic tutoring, one-to-one tutorials and personalised feedback based as much on your career prospects as your studies.Through the lens of sociological and psychological theories, you will learn about the social and psychological causes and consequences of common human experiences and issues.
