You will be well supported throughout your foundation year, with an academic tutor and a team of technicians and teaching assistants to help you reach your full potential. You can take your learning further and become part of our research community through our Psychology Research Participation Scheme. This means taking part in some of the psychological studies run by staff and students within the department. This is a great opportunity to improve your confidence, build your study skills and gain a thorough grounding in the subject before studying it at a higher level. The Bachelor of Science (Honours) Psychology with Counselling employs the scientific approach to understanding behaviour and introduces students to the practical skills required for effective counselling.
