Psychology with Professional Experience BSc (Hons)

The programme offers an alternative to the traditional three-year BSc degree programme in Psychology by providing an opportunity to extend the programme through inclusion of a year-long placement in a professional environment.Placements usually take place between the second and third years of the normal BSc programme and provide students with an opportunity to spend their third year of training in full-time employment in the workplace environment. This will improve their employability after graduation: The placement experience enhances students' confidence, disciplinary skills and attributes, and is perceived as a definite advantage by potential employers.Please note that:--Continuation on the programme is subject to meeting specific academic performance criteria in the first year--It is the student's responsibility for seeking suitable placements, though the School will provide guidance whenever possible.
