Course summary

This conversion programme is designed for graduates in any area who wish to pursue a career in professional psychology. Completing this programme will qualify you for entry to further training, in specialisms such as forensic, clinical and sports psychology.

Whether you’ve studied psychology but didn’t gain accreditation with the British Psychological Society (BPS), or you’re looking to change career paths after studying another subject, this programme is suitable for you.

Converting your degree to a new subject area can be a considerable challenge. Our philosophy on this course is to build on your existing graduate skills and attributes, and to focus on addressing your individual needs. Participants on this course value the close and supportive relationship between staff and students, achieved via face-to-face interaction in the classroom and laboratory, and meetings with their personal tutor. You will also find that the other graduates in your cohort provide an important source of social support as you all undergo this intensive learning experience together.

Taught by a team of psychologists who are committed to offering an excellent student experience, this course features a strong applied approach which draws upon the experiences and insight of all participants. Our philosophy is to build on your existing graduate skills and to focus on addressing your individual needs.
