Study our BPS-accredited Psychology course to systematically investigate the depths and heights of mind and behaviour. Become an expert at the research needed to make a positive impact on people’s lives and tackle the difficult issues affecting the world right now. Understanding and helping people has never been more important, meaning there are many career options our psychology graduates successfully pursue. These include working in psychology, health, business, sports, criminal justice, human resources, research, and education settings, to name a few. Our undergraduate psychology degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), assuring the quality of our teaching and your degree. All practising psychologists and Chartered Psychologist must have a British Psychological Society accredited degree and a postgraduate qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professionals (HCPC). In addition, there is an exciting range of placement opportunities such as teacher training, mentoring young people, mental health services, placement with the Bradford District Care Trust in clinical psychology (on a competitive basis prioritising under-represented groups), and working in the 'Born in Bradford' project.
