Our PhD gives you the time and support to explore your interest in religious studies while maintaining your existing commitments.

You will complete a written thesis of up to 100,000 words.

Supervision is provided by research-active staff. With over 10 years experience in running distance learning degrees the department will provide the support you need.

Distance learning

Visiting the university in person is not essential to successfully complete your PhD.
