If you’re returning to diagnostic radiography, this course is designed specifically to support you to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to work in a dynamic and challenging healthcare environment.

Course description

‌This course will support your application for admission/re-admission to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register as a Diagnostic Radiographer, as long as you meet the HCPC’s requirements.

If you’re returning to diagnostic radiography, this course is designed specifically to support you to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to work in a dynamic and challenging healthcare environment

This course provides some formal study in the academic setting, studied alongside a supervised clinical placement, to provide a structured way to meet the HCPC return to practice requirements

First course in the UK to be approved by College of Radiographers

How you're assessed

You will be assessed via summative reflections and an 'action plan' demonstrating professional development and outlining plans for future practice.

The clinical placement element will be evidenced by a ‘professional practice portfolio’ demonstrating your achievement of activities to support practice.

Careers

This course will prepare you to confidently return to practice; supporting you to apply for admission/re-admission to the (HCPC) register as a Diagnostic Radiographer upon successful completion of the course, as long as you meet the HCPC’s requirements.

You will also be awarded 20 credits at Level 6 which you can contribute towards your future professional studies.
