Course overview

Our social work programmes are designed to prepare you for the wide range of experiences and learning opportunities that you will encounter in practice. You will gain a combination of effective and relevant skills alongside up to date knowledge of how to work effectively with children, adults and a wide range of social problems.

The course begins with a carefully structured induction programme. Then, at every level of the course, there is a module to develop personal and professional skills. You will be supported throughout by a structured tutorial programme; linking university-based learning to practice placements.
