Course summary

The Sport Football Club Coaching Higher National Diploma will allow students to achieve a qualification at an equivalent level to the first two years of a degree whilst undertaking a long term placement within a coaching setting. The programme offers the opportunity to help build the experience and work related practice students require to begin a journey into an exciting career as a coach or teacher. You will be taught by an experienced teaching team whose expertise and knowledge are closely matched to the content of the modules on the course. The team includes lecturers and professional practitioners with industry experience with some qualified up to masters degree level.If you are looking at studying Sport (Football Club Coaching) at university level for the first time, you would need to look at studying another qualification first. Work experience is a essential component of the course and students are advised to consider obtaining work placements prior to commencement of study. **After the course**On successful completion of the course you will gain a Pearson Higher National Certificate or Higher National Diploma in Sport (Community Sport & Physical Activity). Graduates have gone to university to complete their top-up degree, completed master's degrees, PGCE's, as well as securing jobs in coaching and teaching.
