Course summary
Empower others through sport with our Physical Education and Sports Coaching degree. If you currently work, or aspire to teach, in physical education or sport coaching, this course is for you.You will study on campus twice a week, covering topics like:- young people’s holistic development- talent development- contemporary issues in PE and sport- health and wellbeing- teaching skills.

Work placements: build professional experienceYou will undertake a work placement in your second year. This will allow you to apply your studies to a professional environment and strengthen your skills. Previous students have worked at:- schools - sports clubs. Opportunities for further studyOnce you successfully complete our Physical Education and Sports Coaching degree, you can choose to spend a third year completing either our:- Sports Coaching Science BSc (Hons)- Physical Education, Sport and Youth Development BA (Hons).

Given Grades may vary based on the equivalency of your specific qualifications. For applicants whose first language is not English, we accept the English language tests like IELTS and TOEFL. IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any section, iBT TOEFL (including Special Home Edition test) as long as it is no more than two years old: 80 overall with 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing.
