Convert your foundation degree or HND to a full honours degree with our sport science top-up. This honours degree programme will allow you to delve deeper into the world of sport science and aims to further develop your research skills and professional practice. This course starts each September and is awarded by the University of Surrey.

The focus of the honours programme is to ensure that graduates further develop their research skills and professional practice in human performance conditioning and sport science. This course also gives you the opportunity to gain extra qualifications in gym instruction and personal training, approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).

Modules on the programme are further enriched by guest lecturers working in the industry, such as the strength and conditioning coach for UK Badminton and a guest visit from the senior coach for Harlequins rugby team Adam Bishop.

This top-up degree is suited to those with a foundation degree or HND in a relevant subject who are looking to take their qualification to the next level. It may also be possible for you to join this course following relevant professional qualifications and/or experience in the workplace. Whether it is nutritional strategies or exercise and performance psychology, this course will give you the opportunity to learn and explore each sector in-depth.
