Course overview

Our Statistics MSc will provide you with the essential knowledge and skills relevant for a career as a professional statistician or researcher. As the data we generate increases, so does the global demand for analysts who can apply modern statistical methods, to make sense of it.

You'll study a compulsory module covering the Fundamentals in Statistics. This provides the basis for the remaining optional modules. These include, amongst others:

  • Statistical Machine Learning
  • Computational Statistics
  • Applied Multivariate Analysis

This course gives you the flexibility to tailor the degree to your interests and career aspirations.

You will develop advanced statistical skills and knowledge which will enable you to test theories, learn how to interpret large and complex data, and to extract relevant insights from it.
