The flexible nature of this MSc allows graduates from different backgrounds to specialise in one of three streams:

Sustainable Chemical Engineering
Environmental Management
Materials

This course meets the growing needs of employers for graduates with in depth knowledge of sustainable engineering and cleaner and more innovative environmental technologies.

It will provide you with a sound background in the understanding of environmental, economic and social issues and consequences associated with the operation of industrial processes.

You will gain specialist knowledge and understanding of a variety of topics including:

sustainability principles and challenges in a business and industrial context
sustainable processing through industrial symbiosis
renewable energy options
energy management principles
new and innovative materials and recycling
waste and resource minimisation
