Course summary

Our Technology Entrepreneurship master’s programme will help you build skills and knowledge to develop and manage your own business in tech, as well as advance your understanding of entrepreneurship on a global scale. You’ll also learn how to use your entrepreneurial mindset in established technology organisations to drive positive change. By the end of the course you will be adept at identifying new products and services, mapping out entrepreneurial opportunities in the tech world, developing and validating business concepts, pursuing funding, and taking products and services to market.

Our action-based and experiential pedagogy will stimulate and will enhance your skills, allowing you to experience genuine business challenges faced by technology enterprises, both in London and around the world. Support, in the form of one-to-one sessions, for the technical development of your idea will be provided by specialists in the specific technology area, in modules such as Concept Validation and Investment Readiness. You will also be mentored and coached to further develop your ideas, as well as your personal and professional skills.

All of your modules will be taught in short but intensive five-week blocks during evenings and weekends.

Throughout the programme you will be immersed in London’s vibrant business community through our networks of entrepreneurs and investors. This is because the programme is delivered in its entirety at Accelerator, which lies at the heart of Tech City.

Assessment methods will emphasise not just knowledge but essential skills development too.

You’ll be assessed using a range of techniques including exams, group projects, written assignments and essays, group and individual presentations and reports.

After the course

If you’re interested in developing and running your own business in the UK you can get support from Accelerator as a student and following your graduation. We can offer you a range of practical advice and resources, as well as opportunities to apply for funding.
