COURSE OVERVIEW

On our TESOL and French degree with a year abroad, you will be able to gain the knowledge and skills to teach English as a second language, as well as exploring French language, literature and culture.

Teaching English is a great way to see the world and this degree will provide practical and transferable skills to open up a range of exciting career opportunities.

During your four-year degree you’ll learn about theory and practice, language teaching methodology, vocabulary, grammar and meaning, psycholinguistics, first and second language acquisition and discourse analysis.

You will spend your third year in France - an exciting and rewarding experience, which will further enhance your career prospects.
