Course overview

Whether you’re a beginner or have an A Level in your chosen language, you’ll find the combination of a foreign language and teaching English interesting and challenging.Develop your Spanish language skills and your cultural knowledge both inside the classroom and by taking part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities such as conversation groups, and cultural events. Spanish is available at beginner and A2 level.

What you’ll do

- This course will enable you to complement your skills and knowledge in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) with modules on approaches to language teaching, analysis of the English language, and career development.- Includes core language modules to improve your core skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening in your chosen language.- You’ll have the chance to spend a year abroad in the country of your chosen language. This is usually spent at a partner institution, on a work placement or working as a teaching assistant.


Accreditations

- This course is accredited by Trinity College London and enables you to gain the internationally recognised Trinity Cert TESOL certificate, which qualifies you to teach English to speakers of other languages, opening up exciting career opportunities all over the world.
