Course summary

In this course, you will be carrying out independent, supervised work towards your thesis from the very beginning of your studies. You will be supported and guided by an expert supervisory team throughout, and your progress will be assessed by a series of formal reviews during your studies. No viva is required for the MA by Research. There is no requirement for research students to undertake any taught courses, professional experience or other training, but there are plentiful opportunities for them to do so and most of our students take up some of these while they are here.
