Course summary
The MA Theology offers a broad and interdisciplinary study of the Christian religious tradition, with the opportunity to concentrate in specific subject areas, including biblical studies, theology and ethics, the history of Christianity in a global context, and religious studies.Studying and understanding theology is vital to understanding human societies past and present, and provides students with valuable knowledge and a broad range of skills which are attractive to employers.Graduates have gone on to a wide variety of careers including broadcasting, diplomatic service, banking, journalism, police, social work, management consultancy, law, ministry, teaching, recruitment consultancy, charity sector work, and financial management.
