Working with Children, Young People & Families with Foundation Year BA (Hons)

We recognise there may be a variety of reasons why you might not have the required UCAS entry requirements to secure a place on the full degree programme. This integrated foundation year will enable you to transition onto our BA (Hons) Working with Children, Young People & Families course. It will also help you prepare for academic life at university.As part of the foundation year, you’ll:• Study health and community studies-related modules that will give you a broad understanding of the multi-disciplinary health and social care sector• Study additional modules that will help you develop the academic and study skills you’ll need to successfully transition from school, college or the workplace into higher educationAs part of your course, you’ll:• Undertake role-play with professional actors as part of your training.
