One of the most productive actresses in Hollywood, Barkin’s worked alongside Al Pacino in Sea of Love, Robert DeNiro in This Boy’s Life and she won an Emmy for her performance in Before Women Had Wings. More recently, and apparently to prove she’s just that talented, she’s tried her hand at production, bolstering her CV with executive roles in films like Letters to Juliet. That’s all pretty impressive. But Barkin wasn't born that way, she got her start studying a dual major, taking History and Theatre at Hunter College, New York.
