Top tips for Clearing

  1. Do your research in advance You might have to wait until you get your results to be eligible for Clearing, but you can gather all the information you'll need on the day in advance. Find out what Clearing is, how it works, and research the courses you might be interested in. Make a note of the UCAS codes so that you have them to hand on results day.
  2. Take advantage of open days If you're applying through Clearing, and have not yet visited us, don’t worry – we are hosting special visit days during the Clearing period (Saturday 17 August at our Streatham Campus and Friday 16 August, Saturday 17, and Monday 19 August at our Penryn Campus).

  3. Keep calm Consider all your options and don’t rush. Keep checking the university’s Clearing website for information and vacancies, take your time to make the right decision for you, and keep Results Day free to make important phone calls.

There are several options available to you, both university-owned and private, which you can arrange as soon as your university place has been confirmed. It’s possible to look at the range of residences available on our accommodation website.
