Programme features

  • The 21st Century has been dubbed the Asian Century, and never before has it been so important to understand the thriving Chinese economy and business practices. To succeed in Asia, the modern global manager will require cross-cultural management skills and a thorough understanding of the political, economic and cultural landscape in Asia.
  • On the Guanghua MBA not only will you be provided with a quality business management education, but also with the cultural know-how to be successful in Asia. Our MBA is underpinned by the integration of humanities and business management teaching.
  • Our suite of specialist China-focussed courses provides students with an understanding of the complex Chinese business environment, enabling them to operate successfully in, or with, the highly competitive China market. You will be taught about the overall Chinese economy, corporate behaviour, Chinese consumers, government regulations, negotiating, leadership styles and the challenges, pitfalls and opportunities in China.
  • Exchange programme – the Guanghua MBA offers students a unique international learning environment in the heart of Beijing. Students who so desire can further broaden their international exposure by enjoying an exchange semester at one of Guanghua’s 59 partner business schools worldwide.
  • Global business immersion – Guanghua MBA offers tailor-made, short-term international study trip programmes.  These 1–2 week modules are offered during summer or winter vacations and cover economics, management, culture, and other topics, taught by professors from top business schools and experts from international companies. Tours to local companies are also included.
  • In 2013, the Guanghua MBA expanded the study trip course capacity by establishing cooperative relationships with seven prestigious overseas business schools and organising 10 study trip groups for the summer vacation.  Guanghua MBA students will have many more options to observe the world – to experience the cutting-edge theoretical knowledge in North America, to get a taste of the independent academic spirit in Europe, or to have a harvest of business insights in Asia!
