History

  • Kyung Hee University was founded in 1949 as a two-year college institute. In 1960, the institute was renamed Kyung Hee University with a comprehensive education system covering all grades from Kindergarten to graduate school.
  • As of 2011, Kyung Hee has a large global network cooperating with 434 sister schools in 69 countries around the world. Each year, approximately 500 students at Kyung Hee are chosen to study overseas to their sister schools.
