- Undergraduate Students
- An agreement with a local housing authority means that international students at Utrecht can usually be allocated furnished, all-inclusive rooms (on a first come, first served basis). However, these are not the cheapest housing option.
- The university owns no housing and has no accommodation services beyond the above mentioned, except for students at UCU. However, the university website does signpost means of finding private accommodation.
- UCU students live in residence halls on the UCU campus for the entirety of their degree programme, except for the period of the summer break (July–August). Students on the UCU campus receive £645 in credits per semester to spend in the dining hall.
- The most popular living arrangement for students attending other faculties is rental of private rooms or shared apartments.
