- King Saud University (KSU) is a public university in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 1957 by King Saud bin Abdulaziz as the first university in the kingdom not dedicated to religious subjects.

- Higher education for women began in 1961 and female students have their own disciplinary panel and their own campus. There is a dedicated centre, supervising the progress of female students.
