  • The MBA programme at McGill prepares professionals for a management career in an increasingly complex and interconnected business world. It aims to break down the barriers between traditional disciplines via truly innovate teaching.
  • Students are taught by an accomplished faculty who have done much to advance management thinking. Students benefit from up-to-date faculty research and notable guest lecturers.
  • The curriculum begins with a core of courses which provides the organisational and environmental context for the remainder of the programme. Students move on to select electives according to career interest as well as participating in the experiential learning initiative.

Professional Part-Time MBA

Programme features

  • The Professional MBA at McGill offers students the opportunity to accelerate their career whilst maintaining work commitments.        
  • As with the full-time programme this MBA combines a comprehensive and innovative curriculum to ensure students are able to operate and lead in today’s complex and interconnected business environment.
  • Students typically attend six hours of evening classes a week with only one full week scheduled throughout the duration of the programme.

MBA Japan

Programme features

  • The Japan MBA allows working professionals in Asia to gain the MBA qualification from McGill University.   
  • Students partake in an innovative and integrated MBA curriculum breaking down the barriers between traditional disciplines. Teaching is based in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo.
  • The programme is offered on two or three consecutive weekends a month. Students attend the same class hours as the programme in Montreal.

McGill-HEC Montreal Executive MBA

Programme features

  • The executive programme at McGill offers a topical learning environment to high-level professionals looking to progress to senior management positions.
  • Teaching is structured so that students learn in context and from their experienced classmates.
  • Classes meet once a month, Thursday through to Sunday. Students will also partake in occasional evening sessions and two full-time residential modules, one lasting seven days and the other 10.

N.B. The programme is delivered in a bilingual format in order to reflect the nature of the Canadian market. Students must be able to read and understand both English and French.
