Programme features

  • The Schulich MBA delivers individuals to the workplace with the skills and expertise required to succeed in the globalised business environment. Decision-making skills taught focus on a combination of social, ethical, environmental and economic considerations.  
  • Students first partake in a core of courses which are believed to be essential for effective business management. After completion of the core programme students are invited to choose electives which best suit their background and career needs.
  • Flexibility allows students to complete the programme in 16 or 20 months. Those with a degree in business and adequate work experience may also qualify for the eight month accelerated MBA.  
  • Both programmes are offered in part-time format, with classes taking places on weekday evenings. Students complete the part-time accelerated MBA in 16 months and the full-time MBA in three years.

International MBA

Programme features

  • The IMBA at Schulich has more of a focus on international expertise, suiting qualified applicants from Canada and abroad who seek a truly global career.
  • Students cover the fundamentals of general management in their first year on the programme. Areas covered include; Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Economics and Organization Studies, all within the framework of international business. In their second year students are invited to choose electives which best suit their background and career needs. The programme also includes a Global Work Term to give students exposure to different business and cultural conditions.

Kellogg-Schulich EMBA

Accreditations: AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS

Programme features

  • Schulich have teamed up with Kellogg School of Management to offer a tailor made MBA for senior Executives in the Americas. The programme seeks to help them raise the bar and understand the business challenges ahead from a global point of view.
  • The faculty hail from both schools and provide the latest in management scholarship, offering a combination of research based teaching and real-world applications.
  • The programme teaches students about the latest global management tools and concepts with an emphasis on three key areas of management skills; behaviour in learning organisations, international management, managing groups of cooperating firms for international competitiveness. 
  • Students attend a mixture of live-in weeks and weekends at both Schulich and Kellogg.
