History

  • Brigham Young University (BYU) is a private university owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  
  • The university traces its heritage back to 1875 being founded by the LDS Church and its then founder, Brigham Young. His vision was to fuse secular learning with teachings from scriptures.
