Full-time MBA

Programme features

  • Stern delivers a unique education promoting disruptive practice and encouraging experimentation. The faculty teaches with four core values in mind; Academic Excellence, IQ & EQ, Collaborative Curriculum and High Energy.
  • NYU offers a tailored experience with only two required courses and the option of picking five core modules in the first year. In second year students can either choose to specialise in a particular area or continue with a general management education.

Part-time MBA

Programme features

  • The part-time MBA is aimed at those who wish to achieve the qualification with minimal disturbance to their careers. Students enrolled on the part-time MBA at Stern earn the same MBA qualification as those on the full-time MBA programme.
  • Students attend weekend classes or evening classes, decreasing or increasing their workload over time according to circumstances. Students are able to attend classes at either the Manhattan or Westchester Campus but must complete the first year of the MBA exclusively at one of the campuses.

Fees and funding 2014–15

  • $1,930 per credit (£1,317). The programme requires 60 credits total $115,800 (£78,986). This excludes orientation and registration fees.
  • Merit-based scholarships are available to those who have completed a minimum of 30 credits.

Executive MBA Programme

Programme features

  • The EMBA is designed for experienced executives looking to enhance and build their skills for lifelong career management. Students attend classes every other Friday and Saturday so that they can continue in full-time work.
  • Courses include a rigorous general management curriculum and a broad choice of electives. Electives are designed in order to allow students to tailor their curriculum to career needs.

  • $170,200 (£116,111).
  • Stern offers a limited number of scholarships to students receiving partial or no sponsorship.

TRIUM Global Executive MBA

Accreditations: AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS

Programme features

  • The TRIUM global EMBA is a partnership formed between three leading business schools; HEC, NYU Stern and LSE. The schools provide a unique international curriculum to challenge senior executives and teach them how to operate in a socioeconomic and geopolitical context.
  • Students attend classes for 10 weeks over a 17 month period at the three different schools. 6 modules are taught on site with the rest being taught via 15-20 hours of distance learning a week.
