With a long history of oriental education at the University of Edinburgh, it’s no surprise to see it has all but perfected the practice.
An Asian Studies degree at the university comes with focus, so it says, on "a comprehensive study of Chinese language and culture, joint degrees with subjects such as history or linguistics, intensive interdisciplinary programmes focusing on Chinese politics, business, culture and society."
