Programme features Our full-time MBA curriculum is one of the most flexible in the world and offers students a unique structure for learning. Taught by our world-leading faculty, the programme will provide you with a combination of benefits designed to help you develop the capabilities and connections required to succeed in global business today.

Core courses offer grounding in the key skills and frameworks of general management, after which you can diversify with a wide range of elective options. Most students on the programme undertake an 8–12 week paid internship at the end of the first year, which helps you to put your first year learning into perspective. During your second year, you also have the option of going on international exchange with one of over 30 partner schools worldwide.

Additionally, integrated into the knowledge that you build on your MBA is a pragmatic sense of how to apply it to your career. This is fostered by our dedicated Career Services team who will support you both during and after your time at the School.

  • The London Business School scholarship portfolio has some outstanding scholarships available to help offset fees. In order to be considered for these awards, we strongly encourage you to apply in Stages 1, 2 or 3. Current donor-funded scholarships include large awards from Deutsche Bank, Citi, Style Research, Vodafone Group Foundation, Santander, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. We have a number of regional scholarships, including awards for British, North American, Latin American, Indian, Israeli, German, Chinese, Australian/New Zealand, sub-Saharan African, Arab, Swedish, Thai and Japanese students. Specific awards are available for students with military or engineering backgrounds, and a number of awards exist for women. Full-time mode (Sloan Masters in Leadership and Strategy)

Programme features The Sloan Masters in Leadership and Strategy has one intake each January. The structure and curriculum are designed specifically for senior managers with extensive managerial and strategic experience. The Sloan curriculum has five dimensions:

1. Key knowledge delivered through core courses.

2. Core themes of strategy, leadership and change, and globalisation.

3. Tailoring through elective choices that meet your individual interests and goals.

4. Global perspectives gained through the international assignment and the diverse class and wider School community.

5. Key skills accessed through a core skills portfolio, designed to maximise your personal and professional effectiveness across a range of capabilities necessary for successful leadership. This element of the programme gives you the opportunity to reflect on your career in a structured and disciplined way, and to take stock of your personal leadership aspirations and capabilities.

Programme features The Masters in Management programme from London Business School is specifically designed for recent graduates with less than one year of full-time postgraduate work experience. Developed in consultation with recruiters, the curriculum focuses on the key skill and knowledge areas that employers demand. Over 11 months of study, you will gain the practical knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in business.

Programme features The Masters in Finance is designed for experienced financial professionals who want to fast-track their careers in finance. This specialist degree programme delivers a strong foundation in the principles and practice of finance, and the analytical tools and skills to form a sound basis for financial decision making. The objective of this programme is to help individuals, and the organisations which employ them, enhance their managerial effectiveness within the field of finance.

Part-time mode (EMBA Global Americas and Europe)

Programme features The EMBA-Global Americas and Europe programme has one intake each May and runs for 20 months. The programme is run in partnership between London Business School and Columbia Business School.

The intensive timetable features full days of lectures, group work and assignments during study blocks. Core courses are taught in a residential study block format that means you study over several consecutive days per month – alternating between London and New York.  The collaborative learning environment and high-calibre of students on the programme ensure that you learn from the experiences of your fellow classmates, as well as from the world-class faculty.

Both schools make an equal contribution to the teaching of the core courses, with faculty travelling to teach wherever the class is in residence. You have access to the elective portfolios of both schools, as well as to electives offered by HKU Business School. Additionally, you will also study in one or more other markets as part of the International Seminars or Assignments.

Part-time mode (EMBA Global Asia)

Programme features EMBA Global Asia has one intake each June. The programme runs for 20 months, but certain elective choices may enable completion in 16 months.

The programme is run in a residential study block format which means you study over several consecutive days per month in one of the learning hubs. The intensive timetable features full days of lectures, group work and assignments during study blocks. Core courses take place in three learning hubs: Hong Kong, London and New York. Additionally, you will also study in one or more other markets as part of the International Seminars or Assignments.

Each of the three schools makes an equal contribution to the teaching of the core courses, with faculty travelling to teach wherever the class is in residence and you will have access to the elective portfolios of London, Columbia and HKU Business Schools. All teaching is delivered in English, using a collaborative style that means you learn from the experiences of your fellow students, as well as from faculty.
