The University of Bath is globally recognised for its excellence in teaching and research. It is a welcoming community and has a reputation as one of the safest universities in the UK.

The university has an impressive array of subjects to choose from with many subjects ranked in our subject top ten table. It excels in creativity, culture and enterprise and is particularly highly regarded for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Sports Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Education, and Business and Management Studies, among others.

Facilities  

The university offers students an impressive range of facilities including its own on-campus art centre called The Edge. It features dance, music, theatre, visual arts, science, film, classes, and exhibitions.  Bath Uni also boasts a £30 million sports and fitness centre with gym, sports, coaching, physiotherapy, and sport science services. The library is open 24 hours a day and there are several food outlets and a campus pub and nightclub.

Attending an open day will help you decide whether it's the right place for you to study. You'll usually be able to attend talks, take a tour, see typical campus accommodation and talk to students and lecturers so think about any questions you might want to ask in advance.

Where is it located? 

The campus is situated in a green space on a hill overlooking the city, approx. one mile from the centre. There is a great bus service into town, taking about 15 minutes or it's a straightforward walk. Campus accommodation is also close by.

Bath is a UNESCO world heritage site famous for its Roman Baths and Georgian architecture. You could feel like you've stepped into a Jane Austin novel or an episode of Bridgerton while promenading around the town.

There are several festivals celebrating film, literature and music as well as markets including a permanent one at the historic Guildhall and food and vintage markets at Green Park Station. The city is close to beautiful countryside, perfect for walking, running, or cycling.
