The university also offers online distance learning, as well as courses with several global and national partners.
Facilities
Each campus has a well-equipped library, with extensive study facilities and resources and offer 24/7 opening during exam periods and submission deadlines.
Students can see a variety of dance, music and theatre acts at the on-campus Arena Theatre in Wolverhampton and take part in spoken word and open mic nights.
Why go to an open day?
When you attend an open day, you'll get a gut feeling about the university. Open days will help give you clarity if you're not sure what course to choose. You'll be able to visit different departments and chat with lecturers and other department staff, there are often subject talks too. You'll also get to speak to current students. They can tell you whether they're satisfied with the teaching, what the local nightlife is like, what the best halls of residence are – pretty much anything. Don't forget to look at the accommodation for yourself and make time to walk around the surrounding area to see if you like it.
Where is it located?
The university has three established campuses, the main one being in Wolverhampton city centre and is easily reached by public transport. The Telford campus can be reached by car or bus and the Walsall campus can be reached by the number 51 bus or car as it is just off Junction 9 of the M6.
The new Springfield Campus, also based in Wolverhampton, is a specialist Architecture and Built Environment hub.
Wolverhampton is an affordable place to live and a great urban space that's centrally placed. Its only 19 minutes on the train from Birmingham, and under 90 minutes from Manchester and Liverpool.
Wolverhampton has cinemas, theatres, galleries, gigs, cafes and restaurants, as well as a range of outdoor activities.
For sports fans, Wolverhampton offers Wolves FC at Molineux stadium, and you can catch national judo and futsal events at the Walsall Campus.
