Open days at University of Liverpool

The University of Liverpool is a member of the Russell Group. It is proud of its commitment to providing an inclusive environment for its students and attracts people from all over the world. It strives to create a pioneering spirit and encourage original thinking. 

The University of Liverpool has been awarded a gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) for delivering excellent student experience and outcomes across a wide range of courses and subjects.  

It also offers a variety of scholarships and awards for international students, including the Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship, which provides a £3,000 fee reduction for the first year of study to students who achieve high grades.  

Facilities  

The university's facilities include two libraries, a gym, a sports hall, a shop, two restaurants, seven cafes, a launderette and a sports and fitness centre complete with dance and spinning studio and a bouldering wall.

Attending an open day will help you decide whether it's the right place for you to study. You'll usually be able to attend talks, take a tour, see typical campus accommodation, and talk to current students and lecturers about what life is really like so have some questions handy.  

Where is it located?

The main campus is situated in Liverpool city centre, at the top of Brownlow Hill and Mount Pleasant and is easily accessible by public transport. The veterinary science campus is nearby in Leahurst, Wirral.  

They also have a partner university in Suzhou, China. Many students that start their studies in Liverpool have the opportunity to spend time studying in China.

The city has a huge choice of pubs, nightclubs, festivals, coffee shops, and restaurants. Most of the student bars are within walking distance of each other as well.
