Teaching takes place in a classroom or ordinary lecture theatre. Subjects with classroom teaching might include history, maths and philosophy.

Much of the teaching may take place in a laboratory and includes biology, chemistry and physics.
Clinical
Clinical subjects can include dentistry, medicine and veterinary medicine.

Bursaries and Scholarships

A number of scholarships are available to postgraduate students at RGU, depending on the student's course and year of study. Please refer to the university website for details, the following are a selection:
  • RGU Financial Award for Full-Time on-Campus Taught Masters Courses: £1,000 discounts are offered to students classed by the university as Rest of UK (RUK) fee-paying students.
  • Companies generously support RGU students year after year thanks to the university's strong links with industry.

  • Robert Gordon University offers a range of self-catered accommodation across the city, as well as limited on-campus accommodation.
  • While the university does not guarantee accommodation, its Accommodation Services team will provide a student-focused and personal service to help find suitable housing.
