About consultations and university profiles and how we review content annually
We consult institutions regularly to make sure information on the Complete University Guide is accurate and up to date.
Our usual means of correspondence is direct to a named contact in Planning or Marketing. Each year, for example, we ask about:
- The subject tables an institution wishes to be included
- Research Excellence Framework and Units of Assessment used in each subject table
- University profiles
- Reddin Survey of University Tuition Fees
- From time to time, subject-related consultations such as Law

We want to give prospective students, their families and advisors an idea of what each university is like.
Our university profiles give a general overview, containing information such as student statistics, student services and facilities, as well as summarising facilities for transport, accommodation, bursaries and scholarships, sports and leisure, and provision for postgraduate and international students.
We think it's important each institution is given the opportunity to provide updates to this information on an annual basis via the annual consultation. However, you can send us updates at any time. Please check your institution's profile regularly and send any updated information to your institution's Customer Care contact or to Alison Patterson.
