Connected University

With a global network of more than 20,000 students, excellent industry connections and an emphasis on experience, graduates of Staffordshire are among the UK’s most employable. A gold award in the 2019 Teaching Excellence Framework also recognises excellent standards of learning and teaching.

Connected Campuses

The main campus is in Stoke-on-Trent; a creative city conveniently located in the heart of the UK. It also delivers world-class healthcare education at specialist Centres of Excellence in Stafford and Shrewsbury, which feature state-of-art equipment and simulation suites.

Digital Innovation

Technology and industry are evolving; Staffordshire ensure students are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to get the jobs of tomorrow. The university has a proud heritage in computing and was the first to offer an Esports degree. In September 2019, it will launch new facilities at the Digital Institute London, combining specialist teaching in pioneering courses with access to cutting-edge technologies.

Facility Investment

It doesn’t just invest in futures; it invests in the growth of the campus too. Over £75 million has been spent in the last few years, including a £30 million Science Centre, £11.5 million on television, music, games design and motion-capture suites, and £8.7 million on specialist computing facilities in the Digital Kiln. In September 2019, Staffordshire will launch a £1.3 million Smart Zone, fusing state-of-the-art fabrication spaces with new age augmented and blended reality facilities.

Staffordshire understand that full-time, on campus study isn't for everyone, so you can do it your own way, on your terms. To cater for your individual needs and circumstances, it offers a range of ways to study, including part-time and blended learning, as well as two-year accelerated degrees, foundation years and integrated master's.
