Since studying her course, Oluwafunbi has had support to get involved in working in an area she's interested in.

“Through one of my lecturers I was able to secure work at the Coventry Law Centre in Immigration Law – which is something I want to get into. The university were really helpful in me applying for the opportunity.”

He has gone on to have a successful placement year at Siemens, visit five countries on overseas experiences, and get a first-class degree. In particular, he has loved being involved in the students’ union.

“The students’ union here is awesome; I have not seen one like Coventry’s anywhere else. In my final year I was awarded Undergraduate Student of the Year in the annual CUSU awards – it was the perfect end to my time as a student!”

She chose to study at Coventry University's London campus.

“I knew I wanted to study either in either London or at home in Belfast. With my research completed, I began phoning universities and when I spoke with Coventry University London and looked at the course, I knew it was for me.”
