What degree are you now studying, and at which institution?

BSc Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University.

Why did you enter Clearing?

I got all A's, but it wasn't enough to get into my first choice. I was looking through the Clearing options available to me, and I was kind of cross-referencing with university rankings, and Heriot-Watt came up. After researching, I applied to study here.

What factors made you finally settle on the course you chose?

Many things did, including the campus which is lovely. The sports facilities look really good and the course looked great, so I thought it's a good choice for me.

Did you find accommodation easily through Clearing?

Yes, it was really simple. Transitioning to campus life for me was a little bit different because I went directly into second year. But that just meant that I kind of had two groups to make friends from, in my course and in halls.

Have you enjoyed your course and time at university so far?

I really enjoy the culture here. Living in Scotland as a student for me has been fantastic. I think having free buses available to students under 22 is such a massive improvement from where I live in London, where everything's really expensive.
