Leeds has excellent transport links connecting the city to the rest of the UK. Leeds also has an airport (Leeds Bradford Airport) which is extremely useful for international students who want to fly home regularly.

Leeds Train Station is the main train station in Leeds city centre and is just a few minutes walk from the main shopping area, with many buses stopping outside or nearby. 

University of Leeds

The university has 36,250 students, the fifth largest university in the UK. From 2006 to present, the university has consistently been ranked within the top five in the United Kingdom for the number of applications received.

Location 

Everything is all on one campus which is only a short walk from the city centre. Leeds University Union is at the heart of the campus and students’ social lives with over 300 clubs and societies to choose from.

The university campus has a wide range of facilities from cafes and bars to libraries, IT assistance and security services. There’s also access to an app designed specifically to guide students around the campus, pointing out the important and interesting places you’ll want to know about.

Leeds Beckett University

Leeds is a multicultural city and home to 60,000 students, which is reflected in Leeds Beckett University's diverse community. This university offers work placements with leading UK and international companies and ranks very highly for internationalism, facilities and inclusiveness.

Location

The city campus is located right in the centre of Leeds so it’s the perfect location for enjoying the variety of activities that the city has to offer. With great food, shopping and entertainment on your doorstep, there’s plenty to do.

The Headingley Campus is situated just outside of the city centre in the picturesque suburbs and is easily accessible by public transport with regular direct buses into the city. It has its own vibrant community with bars, shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. This campus is full of green spaces, wildlife and historical buildings.

Leeds Trinity University

Leeds Trinity University is located just six miles from Leeds city centre and is one of the UK's top universities for student satisfaction and employability. 

With 95% of students employed or in further study six months after graduating, they're in the top 25% of all UK universities for employability.
