Programme Features

Master of Business Administration (Cybersecurity)

Accreditations: Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Programme Features

  • Students will analyse and evaluate the principles of cybersecurity and gain an understanding of the concepts of risk, threats, vulnerabilities and attack vectors in systems security, information security and operational security.
  • Modules include: financial management and control, strategic management in an international context, fundamentals of cybersecurity, innovation entrepreneurship and technology transfer, and an MBA dissertation.

Master of Business Administration with Placement

Accreditations: Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Programme Features

  • A 12-month taught course followed by a six-month work placement, facilitated by the university.
  • The university supports students in securing a paid placement or work experience. A dedicated faculty placements team is well-connected with regional and national employers and each year places candidates in roles including marketing, human resources, finance, operations and supply-chain positions.
  • Students have secured placements with companies including: Nissan, Caterpillar, Fujitsu, Network Rail and White Lodging Services, as well as small entrepreneurial firms in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
  • Modules include: financial management and control, managing and leading people, international business environment, managing innovation and technology transfer, global logistics and supply chain management, and an MBA dissertation.

Master of Business Administration with PgCert

Accreditations: Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Programme Features

  • A 24-month taught course with integrated Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) in either Human Resource Management or Digital Marketing and Analytics, allowing you to gain specialist knowledge in an area relevant to your interests. Following completion of the MBA, you will have the option to undertake a further PgCert in either Digital Marketing and Analytics or Human Resource Management.
  • Modules include financial management and control, strategic management in an international context, professional management and leadership development, value creation in organisations, managing operations and marketing, and innovation entrepreneurship and technology transfer.
  • Optional modules include markets and marketing in the digital age; contemporary issues in digital marketing analytics; human resource management in context; and leading, managing and developing people and organisations.
