Counselling and mental health support

• A free counselling service is offered to all students.
• The counselling team also has a mental health adviser who can identify support needs.
• The mental health adviser offers short-term and ongoing support, depending upon need.

A range of bursaries and scholarships are available, including the following.

• Abertay Bursary: up to £1,750 per year for Northern Irish, English and Welsh (RUK) students, awarded automatically when eligibility criteria is met.
• Abertay RUK Scholarship: £2,300 per year.
• A wide range of course-specific philanthropic scholarships are offered by organisations, trusts and individuals with strong links to the university.
