The Careers Service offers advice and information via one-to-one drop-in sessions. Workshops to enhance skills development and career choice are offered centrally, and by visiting employers and guest speakers.
Within academic departments, careers staff deliver lectures, presentations and workshops within and alongside the curriculum, and offer subject-specific guidance, advice and information.
ABERcareers offers a comprehensive database of local, national and international opportunities, including part-time work, summer opportunities, 12-month internships and full-time graduate roles.
Fairs and events
Careers fairs, volunteering opportunities and a range or employer-led events are also offered throughout the academic year to all students, easily viewable and bookable via ABERcareers.
An e-mentoring service for students is provided in collaboration with alumni across diverse subject areas and a multitude of work sectors.
