The three-year experimental programme BA (Hons) and the two-year diploma programme (MArch) are comprised of unit-based design work and core studies modules.
AA Design Units are modules that allow students to create their own unique path through the school, working with international architects and designers.
Offering full and partial scholarships and bursaries, the AA financially supports 20% of its students, enabling excellence, diversity, and academic commitment.
‘Expanding Horizons’ is the ethos of the Architectural Association (AA). The school’s flexible, self-directed curricula, along with its institutional independence, brings a rare degree of awareness in confronting the technological and cultural challenges of today. During its 172-year history, the AA has kept its focus on the discovery of new architectural ideas that inspire educational and professional practices around the world.
