I AGREEA range of multipurpose facilities are offered across campuses and teaching sites, with course facilities from biology laboratories to the industry-standard TV studios. There are also several venues and a lively performance schedule.
This brand new campus is in the heart of Bath next to the river Avon. The old furniture factory has been lovingly restored into a new purpose-built space for students. It's a mix of workshops, open-plan, flexible studios and social spaces.
Bath Spa is an award-winning green university, and one that aims to achieve net zero carbon by 2030. Issues relating to sustainability are addressed in all degree courses, and catering outlets have a silver Food for Life award from the Soil Association.
Most sporting facilities are hired externally. Increases in hire cost or restrictions on bookings have impacted on university sports clubs, with some unable to operate.
More use is made of indoor facilities. Some indoor sport has moved outside. Capacity has been reduced, and sessions adapted. Gym equipment has been removed with the space used for indoor activities such as dance, boxing or yoga.
University sports are open to everyone. There are many sports and exercise opportunities for you to get involved in, regardless of your ability, commitment level or past experience.
See a summary of sports and activities offered below, or search the Sports Table to discover which exercise and facilities are available at each university.
