Online advice and support are being offered by Student Services. Support includes writing feedback and online tutoring via Studiosity, one-to-one online appointments in the Study Skills module, and support for specific groups, including disabled students.

Studiosity is an online service for students on taught programmes. It provides assignment feedback and online tutorials.
Specific learning difficulty study skills that are funded by the Disabled Students' Allowance can be provided remotely.
Connect Live provides 30 minute online tutorials to work through an academic problem with a tutor.
One-to-one online appointments are provided in the Study Skills module.
Birkbeck offers generous financial support to help students in need.
Awards includes bursaries, funds for additional support costs and hardship funds for unforeseen changes in circumstances. Bursaries and scholarships are awarded by application.
10% discounts on fees are available for members of a union recognised by the Trades Union Congress. For 2021/22 this will only apply to students undertaking their first undergraduate qualification with Birkbeck.
Birkbeck sponsors 20 students a year, who come from a forced migrant background, under the Sanctuary Scholarship programme.
