CityBuddies pairs new students with current ones on the same course, so that when they arrive there's a familiar face to show them around and answer questions.
City is the greenest London university and committed to social responsibility. It offers students the chance to make a difference via schemes such as looking after City’s bees, working with local school children, volunteering and working in the City garden.
The chaplaincy team supports people from every faith, belief and culture. The multifaith team has a diverse role to play – from offering a listening ear, to providing advice on religious observance, to ceremonial duties.
Facilities are open, with reduced capacity according to the relevant Covid guidelines. Students get priority access.
Student sports clubs are expected to return to play, following Covid guidelines. BUCS competitive sport may resume from January 2021.
University sports are open to everyone. There are many sports and exercise opportunities for you to get involved in, regardless of your ability, commitment level or past experience.
