Online careers platform Talent Connect includes career resources, virtual appointments and events, training pathways and access to the Talent Mentoring online programme for finalists. Online interview practice is available on the Graduates First platform.

A wealth of support
The Talent Team helps students and graduates within 24 months of graduating, to build future work plans, find internship or graduate level job vacancies, build job application skills and access expert career advice.
Career advice and guidance
Qualified career development consultants support students one-to-one to help them reflect on their current situation and plan a course of action. Graduate jobs coaches are available.
Career development modules
Modules on selected courses help students to prepare for the transition from study to work. Students can select from options including learning a language, entrepreneurship, or enhanced research skills.
In-house recruitment agency
The university's own recruitment agency, thefutureworks, can help students with finding employment opportunities. Graduate recruitment consultants can advise final year students on preparing for the world of work.
Global and enterprise skills
Specialists at the Centre for Global Engagement and Enterprise Hub offer opportunities to build global and enterprise skills.
