Where government restrictions apply, students that need to use facilities are able to use them by request providing it is vital for their studies.
Many facilities are near to, or industrial scale. They include cabin evacuation laboratories, flying and welding laboratories, flight deck simulator, off-road testing facility, crash testing equipment, soil dynamics laboratory and biomechanics laboratories.
Larger-scale facilities include oil and gas engineering rigs, an experimental farm and even a sewage treatment works.
Students with young children can access the on-campus nursery and pre-school. Offering the very best for young minds, both have been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted.
