Life on campus
Across campus, there are many places to eat and drink. Places include the Food Village, the award-winning Riverside Café (specialising in vegetarian and vegan cuisine), a Subway, the Newarke Café and a number of coffee shops.
DMU's OpenFaith initiative encourages campus cohesion. It welcomes students and staff of all faiths and no faith to access a variety of spiritual facilities including a recently refurbished prayer room, chaplaincy and breathing space.
Sport facilities are open with reduced capacity or space, to comply with Covid guidelines.
DMUsport and DMUactive are working to ensure a safe return to sport. Measures include capacity limits, alternative facilities and extra coaching capacity. A near normal programme of activity is available.
University sports are open to everyone. There are many sports and exercise opportunities for you to get involved in, regardless of your ability, commitment level or past experience.
See a summary of sports and activities offered below, or search the Sports Table to discover which exercise and facilities are available at each university.
